Following a re-structuring within the company, the IT Director was faced with having to integrate different teams with different cultures together. With a newly formed senior management team, the Director wanted to understand his people better and get his team to work together as soon as possible.
The psychometric evaluation process helped each individual understand their personality better, and how it fitted into the team structure, whilst the Director gained an instant understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of his team.
A team profile was then created, highlighting those competencies that the team needed to work on. Because the report described the team, the individuals concerned did not take the criticisms personally, and took the recommendations for behaviour change positively.
