Advertising is not the only way to find job seekers.

The internet has spawned hundreds of job boards, most of them with a database of CVs, some of which are clearly better than others. Such databases can be useful, but the psychology of dealing with job seekers is different; instead of them contacting you in response to an advert, you’re chasing them.

It is also possible that these job seekers are being pursued by dozens of employers and recruitment agencies. Therefore, thought has to be given as to the merit for using such databases, and how best to get your message across.
